The strawberry addition to Monster's zero sugar Ultra range, and a flavour with real pedigree: it had already become Monster's number one selling Ultra variant in the US before crossing to Britain.
The can is finished in a soft, creamy pink, one of the gentlest colourways Monster has ever put on shelf, with the claw logo and Ultra branding set against the pastel base for what CCEP called maximum impact on the chiller. It is a deliberate departure from the brand's usual dark, aggressive styling, aimed squarely at the growing audience for lighter, sweeter zero sugar energy drinks.
The launch answered direct fan demand: in Monster's own customer survey, 55% of respondents named strawberry as the number one flavour they wanted to see next, more than any other. The can's own copy leans into strawberry folklore, noting that some swear the heart shaped fruit is an aphrodisiac, and that sharing a double strawberry makes someone catch feelings for you.
Inside is a carbonated strawberry flavoured energy drink, sweet with a slight tartness, carrying the Monster blend of taurine, ginseng, caffeine, L-carnitine and B vitamins with zero sugar and zero calories. Sold in 500ml plain and price marked single cans plus four can multipacks.
It arrived in the same 2024 wave as Monster Juiced Bad Apple and Reserve Orange Dreamsicle, and sits in the archive alongside its louder Ultra siblings, including the
Ultra Vice Guava.
