Monster Energy The Doctor VR46 is a signature limited edition 500ml energy drink created in collaboration with Italian MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi, nicknamed "The Doctor."
The can was first launched in the UK in 2014, featuring a crisp citrus flavour combined with the Monster Energy blend, packaged in a bright yellow 500ml can matching Rossi's iconic VR46 brand colours.
At launch, Monster announced that Rossi would hold a can of The Doctor on the podium during any race victories throughout the MotoGP season, making it one of the most visually prominent athlete collaborations in energy drink history.
The Doctor is exclusively available in several European countries and has never been available in the United States, making it a particularly notable can for UK and European collectors.
Monster and Rossi collaborated again in 2025 with a second product under the VR46 name, but the original The Doctor can from 2014 remains the more iconic and collectable of the two releases. A significant piece of motorsport and energy drink history in one can.
